Thirukkural is a secular text on life philosophy, written somewhere between 1st century BCE to 2nd century CE. The ethics outlined in this book are universal and applicable to all of humanity. Our goal is to establish ‘Center for Ethics and Kural’ at the Department of Philosophy in Rice University, Houston, Texas .

Malar Selvan and his family has donated $100,000 towards this center, with commitment to donate another $150,000 to establish this center.

Our goal is to raise additional $750,000 from the community towards this cause. We have established a committee to raise these funds and work with the Rice University to make this project a reality.
